Roberts Memorial Provincial Park was established in 1980 when May Vaughan Roberts donated the land to the Province in loving memory of her husband and daughter. The unique sandstone ledges at the trail's end are part of Vancouver Island's geological heritage and represent ancient seabeds.

Goatboy45 - Roberts Memorial Park is pedestrian access only. It is not suitable for boat launching. The trail goes through a nice forest for half a km or so. It is an easy walk on a well defined path. Beware of the many exposed tree roots and rocks en route. The ocean view is worth the effort.
