3. Re: Pu'u O Kila Lookout. Pretty much just a few steps from the parking lot. You can do the trail if you want, but that lookout is right there. You could, if you want, continue on the Pihea trail it skirts the top of the back wall of Kalalau valley. The views are a little different as you keep going.
