What you might not know is that Britannia Mine was home to 2 townsites, Britannia Beach and Mount Sheer and at its peak, 60,000 people lived in Britannia. A few of us were thinking of going to explore around the old Mount Sheer mine townsite above Britannia beach this Sunday but have had some trouble figuring out how to access it exactly. I've seen some posts talking about the Furry Creek FSR vs the road from Britannia beach itself including some GPS coordinates etc, but they're all from quite.
