Chris Goodrum. Taster. Nose: Dense and lumpen slabs of molasses, abetted by dark treacle, walnuts, orange ring and dried grape. Becomes very spicy - cinnamon and black pepper with a touch of warm vanilla. Now it starts to show some elegance! Palate: Dense and very mouth-filling but elegant with molasses coated dried fruit and an almost agricole-esque herbal note developing.
