The Warren Gorge campground is a huge area with many nooks and crannies to choose from. There are drop toilets and fires are permitted. Dogs are also permitted on a leash. Description 21 km's on an all weather road from Quorn on the Arden Vale Road. Bush Camping reserve with pit toilets, Registration and payment either at the Flinders Ranges Visitor Information Centre, Quorn Railway Station Railway Terrace Quorn or self registration at entrance to Gorge. Self Registration at the entrance to the Gorge is cash only.

Campfire Cooking Only a few others were camping at the time we visited, maybe around five other groups. Warren Gorge is relatively big, so this amount seemed like no one else was around. Once we had set up camp, it was time for Dwayne to get the fire going and for me to prepare dinner. On the menu was slow-cooked lamb shanks in red wine.

As it came to an end, the sign said "Warren Gorge", so I just had to call in and see what this unknown place was all about. And what a great place it was. Public toilets near the entrance, and some camping facilities just outside the Gorge. A small fee of $5 is payable to enter the Gorge and a further fee to camp in there.
