The Archibald Fountain is a magnificent art deco style fountain located in Hyde Park. It was designed by French artist Francois Sicard and unveiled on 14 March 1932. It features mythological characters of ancient Greece. On one of the granite plinths radiating from the central pedestal is a bronze sculpture of Artemis, the goddess of the wilderness, the hunt, wild animals and fertility.
