Shark Net beach (NSW 423) is a 170 m long strip of high tide sand wedged in at the base of the bluffs with low rocky shore to either end and only a 60 m long central section free of rocks, where the shark net used to be placed. The net is no longer maintained, since a rock pool was constructed on the northern rock platform.
