June 2 This is a free camping and picnic area at the Kinbombi Falls access point which is a few km North of Goomeri (famous itself for the annual Pumpkin Festival held in May every year). There is a small toilet block and water available (only at the toilet block) and plenty of room for a dozen vans or more.

Wonderful overnight camping. Dec 2021. Wonderful free camp. Clean and tidy, well-maintained toilets, water taps and day use area with picnic tables and plenty of garbage bins.. Ten or so km east of Goomeri, Kinbombi Falls can be accessed by sealed road and provides a pleasant natural bush setting with some interesting short walks to falls.

The combined walks could be done in under an hour, but it is worth setting aside more time to enjoy and explore the gully.
