Wild kangaroos can be spotted in Westerfolds park, in Melbourne's north-eastern suburb Templestowe. Getting there is super easy. There are several points in the CBD where you can hop on the bus towards Westerfolds Park. We took the bus from Southern Cross Station and within 40-50 minutes we arrived at our destination. Bus: 905

1 - Gresswell Forest, Greensborough Just 20km north of Melbourne's CBD is the Gresswell Forest, a pretty patch of Aussie bush. This small area has 200 Eastern Grey Kangaroos and we got lucky spotting them despite visiting in the middle of the day.
