"John FAITH/John Priest" for Father John Ward. This nickname stems from Vinesauce Vinny's playthrough of the game, as he has a tendency to call every male protagonist "John Title Drop". "Purple Girl" for Amy Martin, for obvious reasons. "THX Demon" for the secret mirror boss in Part III, due to the loud "VRRRM" noise it makes.

11th-Hour Superpower: In the True Final Boss of Chapter III, God seems to genuinely give John His blessings and this enables him to resist multiple attacks from the Fusion Dance of Malphas, Gary, and Miriam. To a point, at least; the blessings will be overwhelmed on the tenth strike, and John will die. Make it count. The Atoner: John's primary drive throughout the series is to save Amy Martin.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin John is a young man with short hair and bangs, standing at six feet two inches tall. He is always seen wearing priestly clothing, including a white clerical collar. Some cutscenes shows that he wears jeans. In the game's art style, he is entirely a deep blue color except for his clerical collar.

Weeks after his return to the Martin house, John has traveled to Gallup Cemetery to investigate suspicious activity, and finds things relating to activities of a Satanic cult, the Eternal Order of the Second Death, who seem to be connected to Amy Martin.

Consistent with Faith's simplistic aesthetic style, protagonist Father John Ward doesn't have an arsenal of tools or an upgrade tree to distribute experience points. From an overhead perspective that lets you see the entirety of a room, you interact with the world using just one button to both examine the environment and use whatever object.

Faith is an indie horror game created by Airdorf Games. Set in the late 80s, the game follows priest John Ward as he comes back to the scene of an unfinished exorcism gone wrong. The game received praise due to the atmosphere created by its limited retro aesthetic inspired by older computer games on devices like the Apple II, ZX Spectrum, and MS-DOS systems.
