1. Coalcliff, Paterson Rd Coalcliff Rock Pool, just south of Coalcliff Beach, was built in 1921 and became a popular leisure spot for the locals and tourists in the mining town. On the way home from Rosedale we stopped at Gerringong Boat Harbour to take some photos of the rock pool and surrounds. (On the way down we stopped at Werri Beach, a bit further north. From the 1820s, red cedar was shipped from Gerringong's small boat harbour. Once the cedar was cut out, dairying became the district's main industry.
