Overall you are looking at a 4.4 km return walk. National Parks say it is Class 5 and requires moderate to good fitness. Walk through yate, marri and karri forest, past the famous Balancing Rock- the Porongurup Range is magnificent. It's 65 metres to the Granite Skywalk on the Castle Rock summit, there is an alternate viewpoint, Karri Lookout.
