The beach at Carrum has a Life Saving Station and is equipped with toilets and a children's playground. It is near to the railway station and Carrum shopping precinct. There is a charge for parking and restrictions on dogs at certain times. There is not a lot of shade in the area and the beach can be windswept at time.
