30 November 2021 The Hokitika glow worm dell is one of the best in New Zealand, and probably the best glow worm display we've ever seen outside of a cave environment. The towering dell walls surround you on three sides with what looks like thousands of twinkling fairy lights. It's a truly magical sight.

15 July 2021 Callery Gorge is spectacular, with electric blue water that you need to see with your own eyes to believe it's not photoshopped! The water is as blue and beautiful as the famous Haast Blue Pools near Wanaka, yet it remains relatively unknown. It's staggering that so few people visit when it's such a short easy walk from Franz Josef!

The Callery Gorge walk is an easy 1 hr & 20min walk from the start and you double back again along the same track. The track follows the old sluice pipes laid by the Waiho Sluicing Company in 1912.
