Hi all extremely busy today (Sat 17th Sept) . Went to pick pay n go wreckers and ripped every thing i wanted off the ae82 twin cam which they have in the locked away yard out the back guy was great and gave me key to it where i had to lock myself in the yard and not let anyone else in lol, only thing i wanted but could not get was the black door handles, could not open doors enough as car.

I had always liked the Corollas from a young age, as my dad had one in the 80's when it was new and he said it was the best car he ever had, and I agree with him, another reason why I love it is that it isn't the same as all the countless Civics and Silvia's going.

AE82 Twin Cam came with the 4A-GE Only the Hatch and Seca came in Twin Cam. don't know the AE9x series well enough to be certain, but from memory the 4A-GE was an option on the CSi, so AE94's only. Going from the differences in the head gaskets i do not think the heads are interchangable,

Re: AE82 twin cam suspension options. with 16" wheels and 205 wide a 40 profile tyre will keep you're speedo accurate. rolling diameter is 8mm lower, 45 profile makes it 12 taller. i've got 16" wheels on my AE92 seca sx with 205/40's and havent had to touch the guards. car is lowereed by lovells spring 25-40mm lower than standard.

Yes they will as the rails/bolt spacings are the same, having said that, Twin Cam seats are more comfortable. I thought the same when I first looked into this, lots of seats are VE RY close, but no cigar. Twincam and single cam seats are exactly the same, the comfort level just changes from c, cs and csx (twincam).
